Hailey Ann Williams (b. 1990) spent her early life in the middle of nowhere, or rather, the middle of everywhere depending on how you look at it. The work she produces is an attempt to find beauty in that which surrounds her.
Williams studied at Elmhurst University (BFA, 2014) with a focus in black and white photography. She currently experiments with various film dying techniques and double exposure shooting.
Selected exhibitions include: "41st Rock Island Art Guild Fine Arts Exhibition” (Davenport), “8th Annual Art & Wine Walk” (Ottawa), “Hailey Williams - Artist Residency" (La Salle), ”45th Annual Fall Student Capstone Exhibition” (Elmhurst).
She currently resides in Central Illinois and travels throughout the state capturing beautiful images of often ugly things.
